Program Summary

It has been nearly 10 years since the enactment of the federal Defend Trade Secrets Act (“DTSA”) which federalized the protection of trade secrets. Since its enactment, the DTSA has provided a federal forum for more trade-secret disputes, and with it, a host of additional remedies and issues. Join attorneys from Faegre Drinker’s nationally recognized trade-secret practice as they cover recent developments under the DTSA as well as a discussion on the future of trade-secret litigation.

Presented by The Federal Bar Association Annual Meeting & Convention 2025 sponsor Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP

Key topics to be discussed:

  • Recent developments relating to non-compete agreements
  • Identification of trade secrets in litigation
  • The extraterritorial effect of the DTSA
